I've always loved jewellery and how they can tie an outfit together. A big statement and stacks of bangles and endless rings are what I like. I worked in a jewellery store for over a year, and I honestly reckon I have enough to open my own store haha. But as trends come an go, my pile doesn't seem to work with any of my clothes. Hunting for pieces that are simple but yet stylish does become very hard, until Realm Of Hu sent out a little goodie box full of some amazing pieces. Each piece was definitely my style, I honestly couldn't wait to wear them.

I'm obsessed with crown rings, due to my last name being King, I guess you can tell why I like them. Haha. This ring is gorgeous, it is very small but it can still stand out, if you wear it the ring way. It is adjustable, so you can wear it on any finger without worrying about it getting stuck. It's encrusted with Swarovski crystals that adds stylish glamour to any girls outfit and collection. I've wore this almost every single day since I first got it, it hasn't let any green marks on my fingers, hasn't lost any of the crystals nor lost its shine. The quality is wonderful

As much as I love bangles, I do have big hands that block my small waist, i was very worried about it not fitting but I was very amazed when this bangle just slided right on without any problems. Gold and black always look so lovely together, but adding a texture of snake print to the bangle just sent me crazy. It was the hottest thing ever! I like how the bangle is focused on the snake print, even though its black, it does stand out and can easily be styled with a matching necklace. It's suitable for any occasion that can be worn in an arm party or just by itself.

When I first saw this on their Instagram, I had to have it. The colours, and buckles just drew me into it. It definitely caught my eyes. The bracelet is made to wrap around your waist to look like you're wearing two bracelets. Matching gold and orange work so well together and adding those buckles add detail and a pop of texture. Orange is such a fun colour, so wearing this in the summer time would be perfect.It's made with 100% leather with approximately 41 cms in length. Some days, I even wear it as a head piece, people are shocked to know its a bracelet.

I've always been a lash girl, i just love how lashes can help create a fuller, thicker and even add length. At one stage I wore lashes every single day cause I was just obsessed, now ive chilled out a bit and only decided to wear them when needed. I recently discovered a brand named WASP, they do lashes, hair curlers and even hair extensions. I was even more excited when they offered to send out a pair of lashes for me to try. :)

Most lashes have a thick heavy black band (where you apply glue on) but Wasp lashes have a light, clear and natural sleek look to them, which is easier to make the lashes look more natural and real.

The tools are easy to use, which shortens the time of applying, use the lash curler applicator to scoop the lashes in a smiling position and then apply a thin layer of glue.Which goes on white and drys clear, then use your handy positoning stick to push them to the outer corncers of your eyes and close to your lashe line, to ensure you get the full effect. To remove them you gently pull off and remove any left off glue, restore them back in their box.


I loved how super easy it was and how it added these extra benefits to my eyes. Theyre truly the best pair of lashes i have even worn. They felt very light, looked natural and didnt have any signs of falling off through out the day. I like that Wasp has all different types of lashes available to pick from. For a cheap price of $16, theyre honestly worth every cent. You definitly get your monies worth out of these lashes, as you get two pairs in one set. Ive already recommand these to my friends and will be making a purschase with them!

Batiste Dry Shampoo Spray: Blush - Review

My hair doesn't get to oily after a couple of days without washing, but it does look a little dry, flat, dirty and straw like at the ends of my hair. So using a quick fix of dry shampoo can really do a great job. It absorbs oil, leaves a scent and also helps look fresh, clean and healthy. I recently discovered Batiste after other bloggers and beauty gurus spoken very highly about their products.

It is an aerosol spray can with a white powdery substance that is designed for you to spray onto dry hair that can absorb excess oils or even freshen up your hair. Ive found that its great to use on days in between washes or even after a gym work out. The Blush scent was quite florally, fresh an sweet. It is a very strong scent while applying, does get overpowdering depending on how much you use.The scent does wear off after awhile, but it does continute to hold its results. The directions recommend to spray the shampoo onto the roots and wait a few minutes before brushing through the rest of your hair.

First time I applied this, I did noitce a few white marks on my hair, which would quickly disappear as I ran my fingers through my hair then brushed it out, I reckon I was just holding it a little to close to my hair. As easy it is to apply this towards your hair, it does come out in a very strong high-pressure burst so you'd need to hold it far away to spread it evenly over your hair. You do get an extra bonus with these shampoos, it creates volume from the roots, that can help give your hair that extra boost it needs. That's something i really did like about this product.

Overall, I love everything about this product, it does exactlly what the product is meant to do. It smells fantastic, blends very well, absorbs oil for the whole day and gives great volume. This is one of the many products i would recommend to a lot of people and also repurschase :)

I personally thought this box was disappointing, i was hoping for more full size products or something that wasnt related to cleaners / primers as that's been something featured a lot in the  monthly boxes. Nothing really caught my eyes or made me think "WOW". I reckon i received the cheesy box, as some people received bronzers and lip products. Anyways; if you think about it, paying $15 for the box is worth it, you can only imagine actually buying these products in store, you'd be broke. I'm still going to try these products, as you cant judge a book by its cover. x

Sukin Natural Deodorant - Review

I haven't been the type of person that gets very smelly pits, but i wanted to try out an all natural deodorant to see what the huge fuss is about. As i was shopping within Priceline, i came across Sukin, ive always loved / used their products and trying something else in their range was still exciting.

 " Sukin Natural Deodorant is an aluminium and paraben-free deodorant that helps eliminate the bacteria that cause odour. It features aroma-therapeutic essential oils of tangerine, mandarin, lavender and vanilla extract, which impart a fresh and clean fragrance. It is suitable for all skin types. "

The deodorant is in a spray bottle, i don't like that you have to apply by spraying as it does leave your underarms dripping wet. Would be nice to see a cream / roll-on product instead. After applying you'll need to wait a few minutes for the product to absorb into your skin as it will get sticky. I didn't have any issue with the product leaving any white marks on my clothing, so i was very happy with that results.

Natural Deodorant didn't irritate my skin at all, even after shaving. The product does leave its scent after a few hours, so making sure you keep applying through out the day. It's very light weight and refreshing, which would help a lot during Summer time. Is made for an all over body spray too, so if you enjoy your body smelling like your underarms, then this spray is for you haha. I'd more than likely repurchase, its perfect and I honestly can't get over the scent :)

A make-up finishing product is the newest addition to my make-up routine, i never really thought I needed one but until i purchased one, i haven't looked back. As i don't use a primer, i thought using a finishing spray would give me the exact results. Would it does, just less oily and more refreshing.

As my first make-up setting spray, i didn't want to purchase anything to expensive, as i wanted to test out other products before putting my favorite. I just wanted something, inexpensive, did the job and was long lasting. The Australis make-up finishing spritz kept jumping out while i was shopping, i always found myself using there testers and reading over it a thousand times. After making up my mind of which brand i should pick, i picked Australis. To be honest, I'm very happy with this choice.

You'll find that the product is a spray with a spray nozzle, that's easy to use. It sprays just a nice amount of product onto your skin that doesn't release to much, nor leaves your skin feeling wet. The spray itself has a pink shade and has rose scent, which smells very pretty and sweet. Its very relaxing and soothing. It contains aloe vera, which its hydrating when applied. 

I apply this before and after my make-up to get the best results and has that extra hold to my foundation / powder. It doesn't dry out nor makes your skin soak in water. It also helps make your face look dewy and fresh instead of cakey, really does even out the powder to insure a flawless coverage. It does the trick into keeping my make-up set in place. If you're looking for a good setting spray, or even a affordable product then i would suggest purchasing Australis.

Veet roll-on wax kit system is one of the best at home salon results, hair removal and even better then hair removal cream methods i have ever came across. It comes with a self heating device, a wax refill, a charger, 12 strips and 4 perfect finish wipes ( to remove wax residues). The instructions were very easy to understand and follow, its very important to follow the instructions to insure how to use the device correctly and in a safe matter, don't want to burn your fingers and also use in a clean area, where the plug can hand freely. Make sure to place your wax refill into the device before plugging and turning it on. I charged the wax for more than 20 minutes stated on the box / instructions. Did a small test on my arm to make sure the wax was ready to use.

The wax was a pink colour, just like the salons, it rolled out onto my skin without any problems, evenly applied too. The instructions say to immediately apply the strip while the wax is still freshly hot, to insure that strip can stick and to rub the strip repeatedly over the wax in the direction of your hair growth. You can only guess the next part. Yes, you've guessed it, time to rip this strip off. As i was doing that, i have to admit, it was a lot more painful then i imaged. I guess cause i haven't waxed in so long, that i forgot the pain, but after a while you get used to it, or if you already do home waxing, then you've got nothing to worry about. The waxing strip did rip out each hair that was covered in wax. Didn't leave any wax left over on my skin. After waxing i used one of the finish wipes to wipe over my skin to give it a shiny and smooth feeling on my legs. 

The kit is made to give you 4 uses but honestly i don't think you'd get that many uses out of it, due to the amount of strips and wipes you get in the pack. Although they're available to purchase from the stores to continue using the device. I normally get redness after waxing but this time, i didn't get any redness not even a sight of pink either. My legs remained hair free for 2 weeks + now, and still no sight of hair. I'm very glad i got to trail this product, as it's honestly one of the best home salon waxing devices I've used. It's easy, simple and can be used in your own time. It definitely gives you the salon results at a cheaper price. I will continue to use this device and will definitely recommend it to everyone to give this a shot.

when I'm in a rush for work, i throw my hair into a top bun then spray on hair spray. I want something that holds all day, doesn't make my hair feel like straw, doesn't leave white marks and smells fresh and nice.
Unfortunately, this product didn't help protect or give any results towards my hair. The scent was an odd smell, it honestly smelt like a goon sack. I got an awful headache couple minutes after applying it.. Don't know how a product can effect you that way. My hair felt like straw, sticky, dry and hard. The hold wore off after couple of hours. My flyways were sticking right up.. I honestly was super excited for this product, as a lot of people rave on about it and seemed to get a better experience then I. Even with this experience, id still try other TRESemme products and i keep an open mind to their other products.

I haven't always been a huge fan of using sponges to apply my foundation cause it leaves my face very patchy, sticky and wears off. Seeing so many reviews on the beauty blender, that I honestly wanted to try it myself. To this day, I don't think I can live without it! Gives a great dewy finish without foundation lines, perfect coverage, gets right into the corners of your eyes. So easy to apply and I love how the sponge makes the foundation feel on my skin. Using this sponge has saved a lot of my foundation product, I just need one pump and it covers my whole face.

Before using, beware that there is a lock on this spray. I took me a month to notice that, I kept unscrewing the lid, just to use it. It's super easy to direct onto the hair, I spray on each section on my hair, while I straighten. This product has a sweet, honeydew smell to it, which wasn't the best at first, but I have gotten used to it now. It's very light / watery, doesn't have any stickiness or bulkiness while applying. I'm very happy with the results and how well it performs. Helps my hair look sleek, shiny and smooth. It actually does its job!

Essence Stay All Day 16HR Concealer.

For a very cheap concealer, it does amazing! I tend to use this only on days that I want a full coverage under my eyes, due to dark circles, bags or just tried eyes. The texture is very thick and creamy, so applying just a little would do the trick. I apply in dots, then use my beauty blender to dab into my skin. A few people use this before their foundation, but I've found that I get more results by applying it after my foundation & powder. So the look is still fresh. It smooths on nicely and does live up to 16HR, even more. Definitely lightens up my eyes, makes them look bigger and more awake.

love!love!love! I never cared much about my brows, don't get me wrong, I did shape them / wax. But it was the whole fill them, add colour, make them look longer etc. I was always like that's stupid, until I received this as a freebie item from a makeup site. At first I wasn't to sure about how they looked, didn't know how much to fill in, how dark I should apply it. It was almost so hard for me. Haha. But after awhile, I got the hang of it. Small lines, darker in the arch, longer on the ends. It ended up looking clean, neat and gorgeous looking. I loved how it looked natural. It was super easy to apply and I loved the comb at the end to help define and shape your brow. Most importantly it is very long lasting and doesn't smudge which is perfect for me because I work in retail, with long shifts.I need something that won't come off when I sweat, plus it is very affordable comparing to other brands.

Blends very beautifully with my foundation & evens out my skin tone. The texture is creamy and super hydrating with a hint of colour. It also has SPF 15 included which is just an exciting benefit!

I love that it is fragrance free, moisturising with vitamin E, isn't greasy nor drys your skin out, and hides blemishes. I honestly can't believe I found such a natural, sheer effect tint moisturiser that enhances your features without getting the caked up look. I have already recommended this product to so many people, and gotten amazing results off them too. It's my holy grail tinted moisturiser.

When it comes to beauty and makeup, a few of my favourite youtube gurus always seem to talk about prime your face before applying foundation cause its meant to help your makeup smooth on nicely and give you a flawless look. I have never really used a primer before as I honestly don't think I need to use one, as my makeup sits right through out the day all the way to midnight. So I never spent money on buying one, but when Priceline had their beauty bag deal, this Nude By Nature Undercover Airbrush Mineral Primer was included and I decided to give it a shot.

The website reads:

" Start your application with your primer. It’s the perfect way to prepare the skin, nourish and protect using Papaw, Vitamin E, Green Tea, to fill pores and lock on your make-up for all day wear " 

This primer is very thick, smooth, rich and applied quite nicely. It was between mid light weight to almost heavy on my skin. It did have a very strong, unusual smell which turned me off the product and would leave my fingers smelly. I left the product on my skin for roughly 3-4 minutes for it to set in before applying foundation. Within a couple of minutes, my skin felt sticky and was hard to apply and spread my foundation over the top. I did apply some powder on top, which gave me a flawless matte coverage. Which is something I really do like. After a few hours, I noticed that my makeup started to fade away and made my makeup look awful and oily. I was at work so I couldn't redo my makeup besides keep touching it up. At one stage, my face started to burn across my forehead and cheeks that I just had to remove my makeup.

Overall, I'm very glad I didn't spend money on purchasing this primer as its honestly not worth the price tag. I'd never consider buying them due to the experience I had. Although everyone has different skin types, and may have different experiences towards this product but this just wasn't for me.
